Up for sale are TWO (2) replacement body column / body posts that hold the shell of the car to the frame. The ones that come from HobbyKing and WLToys are made from material that doesn’t handle stress very well and therefore tend to break. I found the only replacements to ship to the US were direct from China and shipping took weeks to arrive, were over priced and resulted in more frequent breaks.
To that end, I have redesigned these body posts to fit the truck version of WLtoys 12402 (and the HobbyKing variant, see photo). These are designed to be more durable, and are made with a rubber like material (TPU) which has incredible resilience. After weeks of thrashing my RC car with no problems I decided to post these for sale.
Because folks go through a lot of posts, and even though I don’t think these will ever break on you (but lets be real, anything is possible), I’ve added some extreme discounts on volume purchasing if you want more than 1 pair as my costs for postage and packaging will remain unchanged.
Note, due to the manufacturing process the posts themselves will have cosmetic imperfections. THESE WILL NOT IMPACT PERFORMANCE and each are tested before shipped. These posts go under the body so these imperfections will not be noticed while in use. These will work with stock pins. ADDITIONAL NOTE: these fit the 12402 variant that has a set of IDENTICAL body posts
